    very effective effort by the writers to help readers understand complexities of data communications.the perspective offered in the book is usefull to non technical people.carefull study of the contents will reward the reader with a much improved insight into this important topic.one question-where can the accompanying work book be found?

    This book was one of my required courses at University of Washington. I find it very helpful and informative. However, in order to benefit from this book, one needs to read it carefully and reread it a few times to understand what the author is trying to say. For advance users, this will help them to understand the big picture for planning and designing.
